What we look at
Our research brings together published event information, search data, public conversation and speaker history. Our experience attending marketing events helps us decide what matters; the detailed methodology stays proprietary.
Brand demand. We look at search interest to understand how much attention an event attracts. It measures interest, not attendance or ticket sales.
Speaker experience. We research published speaking history and speaker credits. The resulting signals describe documented experience, not a quality score. Earlier lineups and limited evidence are labelled.
Price and practicalities. We bring together admission prices, food, location and format. Prices may be restricted or historical; the listing explains their status. An asterisk flags possible extra tax or fees. Check the organiser’s current offer before booking.
Privacy and corrections
Full personal profiles and individual talk records stay private. We publish selected sourced portraits and excerpts. Shortlists stay in your browser; no account or added advertising or analytics tracker is required. Map and font providers receive requests to display their content, and hosting logs may be retained. Map attribution.
Spotted a mistake? Use the correction link on the event’s page. Your message and contact details are sent to Conference Spotter for review, not published. Listings don’t change automatically. Stored correction requests older than 90 days are cleared during valid submissions; email copies are retained separately from these website records. Please don’t send payment details or attendee lists.
